National Horticulture Board
Hi-tech cultivation, cold chain & post-harvest infrastructure
Description
A central horticulture support scheme focused on strengthening commercial horticulture, hi-tech cultivation, and post-harvest infrastructure. It supports eligible projects such as protected cultivation, nurseries, packhouses, cold storage, controlled atmosphere storage, and other facilities that improve productivity, reduce post-harvest losses, and enhance market readiness for horticulture produce.
Target Audience
Farmers, Farmer Producer Organisations, agri-business companies, agripreneurs, nursery operators, horticulture project developers, cold chain operators, packhouse owners, and entities planning protected cultivation or post-harvest infrastructure projects.
Benefits
Credit-linked capital subsidy support under NHB may apply across key components such as commercial horticulture production, protected cultivation, nursery development, post-harvest management infrastructure, cold storage and controlled atmosphere storage, technology development and transfer, market information services, and horticulture promotion or expert services. Depending on the component, project location, beneficiary category, eligible project cost, and prevailing NHB guidelines, subsidy support generally ranges from approximately 35% to 55% of the eligible project cost, subject to prescribed ceilings and approval norms.

Collateral-free loan guarantee for micro & small enterprises
Description
A credit guarantee scheme run by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and SIDBI that enables micro and small enterprises — including agro-based and agri-allied units — to access collateral-free institutional credit. The scheme provides guarantee cover to lending banks and financial institutions, reducing their risk and encouraging them to extend loans without demanding collateral or third-party guarantees.

Micro and small agri-based enterprises, agro-processing units, farm equipment and input dealers, agri-startups, first-generation entrepreneurs, and FPOs or agri-enterprises seeking term loans or working capital without offering collateral security.
Benefits
Enables collateral-free, third-party-guarantee-free term loans and working capital facilities. Guarantee cover typically ranges from 75% to 85% of the sanctioned loan amount depending on borrower category, on eligible credit facilities up to a ceiling that is periodically revised under scheme guidelines. Improves the ability of agro-enterprises to secure timely bank funding for expansion, modernization, and working capital needs.

PMFME
PM Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises
Upgrading micro food processing units under the ODOP framework
Description
A centrally sponsored scheme by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries that provides credit-linked capital subsidy along with training, branding, and formalization support to micro food processing enterprises, helping informal units upgrade, formalize, and become competitive.
Target Audience
Individual micro food processing entrepreneurs, Self Help Groups, Farmer Producer Organizations, producer cooperatives, and micro-enterprises engaged in food processing activities such as pickles, spices, bakery, millet-based products, and other regional specialties.
Benefits
Credit-linked capital subsidy of 35% of eligible project cost, capped at ₹10 lakh per individual micro unit, with a similar 35% subsidy structure for FPO/SHG/cooperative projects and for common infrastructure development (subject to a higher cap). Seed capital support is available for SHG members for working capital and small tools, alongside branding, packaging, and market linkage support.

Description
The Agriculture Infrastructure Fund is a medium- to long-term financing facility for post-harvest management infrastructure and community farming assets, offering interest subvention and credit guarantee support to make bank loans more affordable for eligible projects.
Target Audience
Farmers, FPOs, PACS, SHGs, agri-entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and central/state government agencies or local bodies developing post-harvest and farm-gate infrastructure, including warehousing, cold storage, and primary processing facilities.
Benefits
Interest subvention of 3% per annum on loans up to ₹2 crore for a maximum of 7 years; credit guarantee coverage for eligible loans up to ₹2 crore; a capped lending rate so the subsidy benefit reaches the borrower; and eligibility extended to integrated primary and secondary processing projects under recent scheme updates.
